You try to get out…but they pull you back in…
After my big 3rd place finish at Easy Fitness back in January, I’ve pretty much been flailing about like this:
Flailing , Verb:
- 1. Wave or swing or cause to wave or swing wildly.
- 2. Flounder; struggle uselessly
Yep.
I had stopped going in part due to $$ and in part due to fears that I couldn’t possibly add strength training in with all the other training I was going to be doing.
However, I need an anchor. I need some accountability (not that you guys aren’t doing a great job…but sometimes face-to-face head shaking works better). I need to see progress again. I need a swift kick in the ass.
So for 6 weeks, I’ll be back with my man Kevvy-poo (aka Kevin) twice a week, to maintain/build my muscle and get some sense knocked into me.
95 days till Kona and I’m still comfortably resting my computer on a belly shelf.
Back to work.
